Royal Camp, Nagaur Fort
The city of Nagaur dates back to the 4th century A.D and was at the centre of Muslim invasions from Central Asia. The massive protective walls of the historic Nagaur Fort encompass an ancient complex of richly painted palaces, mosques, temples, intricate baoris (reservoirs), water systems, fountains, open terraces and pleasure gardens dating back to the Mughal times. Pitched within the fortifications of the splendid Nagaur Fort, the Camp offers a unique opportunity to participate in the rich traditions of Rajasthan and witness its vibrant culture and people.

Things to do
Jodhpur : The bustling desert city of Jodhpur stands at the edge of the Thar Desert and is the second largest city of Rajasthan after Jaipur. The city is distinguished by a massive fort that tops a sheer rocky ridge rising in the middle of the town. The old city is still surrounded by a 10 km long wall, built about a century after Jodhpur was founded. Just wander around the rambling streets of the old city. Browse through the antique stores or go visiting the fort. Bikaner : Bikaner figured importantly on the great caravan trade routes. A long city wall encircles the old city while all important buildings, including the fort and the palaces, are outside the city walls. Nagaur Cattle Fair: Nagaur hosts a week-long cattle fair which takes place in late January or early February. The fair attracts thousands of rural people. There are camel races and various cultural entertainment programmes by folk artistes.
