The Khimsar Sand Dunes Village lies six kms from Khimsar Fort, Rajasthan in the heart of the seven dunes of Akla. A water body in the center makes it a 60-acre oasis of peace. The eco-friendly complex is surrounded by sand dunes in all directions and is accessible by jeep, camel or horse. The cluster of huts resembles the local village hutments known as dhanis.
